Day 1: Batlló House | Sagrada Família | Casa Milà | Barceloneta Beach 🔸Gaudí’s Trio: Buy tickets online in advance to avoid queueing.
- Batlló House: Visit in the morning/noon, explore Gaudí’s early and unique work with influences of Art Nouveau and Moorish architecture.
- Sagrada Família: After 4 PM, experience the colorful light through stained glass windows changing with the time of day, a truly mesmerizing sight!
- Casa Milà: Visit after 6 PM to avoid the afternoon heat. Explore the interior and catch the sunset from the rooftop, offering warm tones for great photos. 🔸Beach: Visit during sunset or early morning for a generally calm sea. Not as crystal clear as Sitges, but vibrant with beach volleyball and sunbathers.
Day 2: Gothic Quarter | Boqueria Market | Plaça de Catalunya | Sitges
- 🔸Gothic Quarter: Explore Barcelona Cathedral, Bridge of Sighs, Kissing Wall, Royal Square, and more.
- 🔸Boqueria Market: Lunch at Boqueria for a variety of seafood, ham, and fruits.
- 🔸Plaça de Catalunya: Feed pigeons and take photos.
❣️Highlight: Afternoon trip to Sitges!
- Take R2S train from Sants station to Sitges (40 minutes). Purchase tickets at the station. Be cautious not to board the wrong train.
- A 10-minute walk from the station to the seaside. Enjoy museums, churches, or simply the beautiful sea.
- The sea is incredibly blue and relaxing. Take your time; it’s worth spending half a day. Return to Barcelona around 7 PM.
Day 3: Passeig de Gràcia Shopping | Tibidabo Sunset
🔸Shopping on Passeig de Gràcia: Late start due to the previous day’s adventures. Combining visits to various small and luxury shops, we concluded our shopping spree around 7 PM.
🔸Tibidabo Sunset: Unfortunately, we missed it due to late shopping. A regrettable moment, but there’s always a next time!
If shopping is not a priority, you can rearrange the itinerary for the second day to the third day.
